About the experience.
The first stop is Muyil, a Maya site whose history reaches back to around 350 BC. From there a motorboat crosses the Chunyaxché Lagoon and follows the canals the Maya cut through the wetlands.
At the mangrove river you step into the water in a life jacket and let the current carry you downstream. The tour finishes by the beach in Tulum, at a relaxed, eco-minded restaurant, before the drive back to your hotel.

02Do we need to swim?
You float down the mangrove river in a life jacket, but guests should be able to swim and be reasonably fit.
