About the experience.
Grupo Xcaret runs this tour on a panoramic bus with an onboard restroom, from Cancún and the Riviera Maya, with a light breakfast of baguette, juice, muffin and coffee on the way. At Chichén Itzá a certified bilingual guide leads you through the main buildings for about an hour and a quarter, with a radio headset so you hear every word, then you have about an hour of free time.
The Pyramid of Kukulcán is a great stone calendar, famous for the feathered serpent of light that descends its steps at the equinox. From the ruins the tour continues to Valladolid, a Pueblo Mágico, to see the Zací cenote, then to La Casona de Valladolid, a restored estate, for a buffet of Yucatecan specialties.

This Grupo Xcaret tour travels by panoramic bus with a restroom, serves breakfast on board, uses radio headsets at the site, adds free time at Chichén Itzá, and continues to Valladolid for the Zací cenote and a buffet at La Casona. The express tour travels by van from Cancún and Playa del Carmen, with a guided visit and lunch.
