About the experience.
The River Route starts with a safety briefing and a short practice run, leaves from the streets of the Old Town, follows the Cuale River into the Sierra Madre and ends at a waterfall, with a tequila tasting and a stop for Mexican food at a local restaurant. The Las Vegas Route climbs the mountain for views over the whole bay and finishes at a ranch with a restaurant, a river to walk in and hammocks to rest in, plus a tequila tasting and a tortilla tour.
The Punta Mita Route runs country roads, streams and rivers to the beach at Higuera Blanca at the northern tip of the bay, with round-trip transport and a tequila tasting included. The ATV + Canopy combo puts about an hour on the quad through the hills, a swim stop at the El Salto waterfall, zip lines high above the river at Canopy River, and a mule ride to close the day.
Helmet, bandana, goggles and bottled water are provided. Tell us the route, single or double quads, and where you are staying, and we confirm the pickup plan and price in writing.

Good to know
- Drivers must be at least 16 on the River Route and the ATV + Canopy combo, with passengers from age 7, and 18 on the Las Vegas and Punta Mita routes; on Las Vegas passengers join from age 4, and on Punta Mita younger riders go with a parent on a double ATV.
- Bring a driver’s license or official ID. On the River, Las Vegas and combo routes a credit card is held for the vehicle damage deposit.
- Punta Mita Route: riders must be at least 4 ft (1.2 m) tall and no more than 260 lbs (118 kg), and cameras are not allowed during the ride.
- Not open to pregnant guests or to anyone with back problems; on the Punta Mita Route this extends to neck, heart and dizziness conditions.
- Bring: clothes and closed or strap-on shoes that can get wet and muddy, a change of clothes, insect repellent and cash for the restaurant, souvenirs or photos. Leave jewelry and valuables at the villa.

01Can two people share one ATV?
Yes. Every route is offered on single or double quads; tell us how you want to ride when you request.
02Which route is best for a first-timer?
The River Route begins with a safety briefing and a practice run. Tell us who is coming and we will suggest the route that fits the group.
03Is transport from the villa included?
It is included on the Punta Mita route. For the other routes we confirm the meeting point or a pickup with your quote.
04Do we get wet?
Yes. The routes cross streams and rivers and the combo stops for a swim at a waterfall, so wear clothes and shoes that can get muddy.

The same mountain routes as the ATVs, driven from the seat of a side-by-side RZR with a steering wheel, foot pedals, full seat belts and a roll cage. Two or four people per vehicle.
Canopy Zip-Line Tours
Three canopy parks in the hills behind Puerto Vallarta, each with its own character: a film-set jungle, a river with lunch and water slides, or a mountain valley finished on a mule.
Horseback Riding
