About the experience.
The tasting works through the tequila family, from blanco and reposado to añejo and cristalino, then moves on to mezcal from both cultivated and wild agave, and to raicilla from its two regions, the Sierra and the Costa. Artisanal salts, fruit and chocolate are paired along the way.
Your bilingual guide uses flavor and texture to tell the story of Mexico before and after the Spanish conquest, and to show what sets each spirit apart.
The tasting is held on site and priced per person by zone: Puerto Vallarta, Punta de Mita or Sayulita. Tell us where you are staying and how many are joining; Punta de Mita and Sayulita need a minimum group, which we confirm with your quote.

It is offered on site in Puerto Vallarta, Punta de Mita and Sayulita. Tell us your villa and we will confirm the setting with your quote.
02How is this different from The Magic of Tequila?
This is a sommelier-led tasting of tequila, mezcal and raicilla. The Magic of Tequila takes you to a tequila distillery near the bay, with transport included.
03Is there a minimum group size?
In Punta de Mita and Sayulita, yes. We confirm the number and the per-person price for your zone with your quote.
04Do we need to know anything about tequila?
No. The tasting teaches through flavor and texture, so it works for first-timers as well as keen drinkers.
