About the experience.
The jump begins with a class on the ground covering the process and the safety procedures. Then you board the plane and fly for 20 to 25 minutes over Banderas Bay, climbing to 10,000 feet above sea level.
Harnessed to your instructor, you leave the plane at around 9,500 to 10,000 feet for a free fall of about 40 to 45 seconds at 120 miles per hour. The parachute opens gently and the flight down over the sea lasts several minutes, ending on the beach on rectangular canopies designed for soft landings.

Good to know
- Age, weight and health requirements for tandem jumps are confirmed with your quote.
- Eat before your jump, and do not scuba dive in the 24 hours before it.
- Arrive 15 minutes before your reservation time. Leave valuables at the villa; the group passes through airport security.
- Wear comfortable clothes and sneakers or sandals that will not fall off. Shorts are fine, collared shirts are best avoided, and jewelry should stay behind.

01Do I need experience?
No. This is a tandem jump: you are harnessed to an instructor who controls the jump and the canopy, after a ground class.
02How long does the whole thing take?
The flight to altitude takes 20 to 25 minutes, the free fall under a minute, and the parachute ride 5 to 7 minutes. Allow time for the class beforehand.
