About the experience.
Choose a luxury French sailboat from Marina Vallarta or a Leopard sailing catamaran from Nuevo Vallarta. On the sailboat, the crew starts with an introduction to the basics of sailing before you leave the marina; after that, the day is as active or as idle as you like.
Weather permitting, the boat stops at a protected, secluded cove to swim and snorkel, with paddleboards and a power snorkel on board. Or stay on deck on the large cushions with a cold drink. Dolphins sometimes swim alongside, and from December to March humpback whales are often seen.
A deli lunch, snacks and an open bar are included, and group sizes are limited.

01Is this a private charter?
No, it is a shared sail with a limited group. For a boat to yourselves, ask about a private yacht charter.
02Do we need sailing experience?
No. On the sailboat from Marina Vallarta the crew begins with an introduction to the essentials, and after that you can be as involved as you like.
03Will we see whales?
From December to March humpback whales are often seen from the boat, and dolphins sometimes swim alongside. Sightings are never guaranteed.
04How is this different from the sunset sail?
This is a daytime sail with lunch, a swim and snorkel stop and water toys. The sunset sail is an evening cruise with an open bar and canapés.
